We are expanding our Infrastructure & Security team and are seeking a Junior InfoSec Analyst to play a vital role in operating and maintaining our Information Security Program.
Job Overview
We are looking for a Junior InfoSec Analyst to join our team and help enable the secure and efficient delivery of complex construction projects. The Junior InfoSec Analyst will work closely with the Head of Security to operate and maintain EIDA’s Information Security Program.
This will involve performing a range of tasks, from maintaining firewall configurations, to performing pentests, to developing security governance. This job is ideal for a junior security analyst who wants to gain experience in a wide range of security domains.
Major Responsibilities
- Conduct routine security checks, including firewall rule updates, backup verification, and restore exercises
- Assist in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities
- Monitoring alerts and logging to provide swift response and resolution of security incidents
- Participate in incident response efforts, including investigation, documentation, and reporting
- Collaborate in the preparation and facilitation of security audits, such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Information Security Program
- Promote a strong security culture throughout the organization
- Stay updated on emerging threats and security trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of information security principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning in the field of cybersecurity
- Familiarity with networking and systems fundamentals
- Some experience with any programming or scripting language, preferably Python or Bash
Preferred Experience
- One or more relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CISM.
- Proven experience in information security, including security operations and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices.
- Experience in web application pentesting
- Experience with cloud technology
- Knowledge of GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance)
